"LITTLE DAVID" was created from what started out to be just a poem. As the author read and re-read this
poem, she was inspired to add pictures. She didn't realize the poem was actually a story about the life of a character
named David; who couldn't walk. In spite of his physical limitations he managed to be a happy child, because
of the love of his mother and sister.
This picture book teaches that children are special and their life is important.
Just because we don't get the things we want out of life doesn't mean we can't make the best out of what we have and be happy.
Children are a gift from God and they are special to Him and should be special
to their parents also.
